The Mum Map Sligo has been developed as part of the Year of Care Campaign, created by Aolish Gormley, and funded by the North West Credit Union Community Fund. It is a fantastic initiative dedicated to supporting mothers, strengthening communities, and ensuring that care remains at the heart of the postnatal journey.
The Year of Care Campaign advocates for comprehensive, year-long postnatal support for mothers across Ireland. While formal postnatal care often ends just six weeks after childbirth, many women continue to need mental, physical, and emotional support during this crucial first year.
